Try as I might, I was unable to identify this tree. I thought it was a crabapple, but the “fruit” never developed past the brown stage.
It grows with a red-fruited pear tree, so I can’t post a clear picture to show its shape.
I THINK all of the below pictures are of the same tree. This is our first year on the farm, so I may have mislabeled because I didn’t know what the trees were when they flowered. I also may have accidentally captured the pear instead of the unidentified tree.
Please let me know if you can identify it!

I’d say you’re right. Thank you so much, Debbi! Hubby, a park ranger, said it looked like an ornamental pear, but the fruit threw me. Guess I should listen to the experts next time!
