Sour Cherries Picked Today!

Tim and I picked 9 pounds of sour cherries at Hartland Orchard (in Markham, Virginia) today. I haven’t picked cherries since I was a kid, so I’m not sure how far I’ll get with 9 pounds, but I’m hoping for some jam, more pie filling, and at least one fresh cobbler! Wish me luck :-)

Fruit Starting to Grow

The only tree I could definitely identify when we moved to our home was the peach tree. I had a little help with the peach pits scattered around.
