We have a couple of dozen peonies. I don’t know the name of a single one (except for a new one I’m adding), but they are all lovely. Most are a dark pink color with almost no scent. The whites, of which there are two, smell lovely — that perfect peony fragrance. The last petals are dropping as I write this. The foliage is still beautiful, though! Do you have a favorite peony? I’d love to add some recommended for their fragrance.

Those are lovely!
Thanks, Linda!
Hi! Do you still grow peonies? I’m looking for somewhere to buy or get fresh cut peonies in or near Roanoke.
I grow them, but I’m sorry I don’t know where to buy cut peonies in Roanoke. Maybe check with some of your local nurseries or florists. Good luck!
