2010 Blizzard in the Shenandoah Valley

Here’s hoping the blizzard of 2010 doesn’t cause too much harm to our new home and its flower beds.

I had to keep shoveling so I could walk the dogs! We’re at about 22 inches here…though with the wind drifting the snow, it’s hard to be certain.

snowy treeThis tree is absolutely beautiful. I’ve never bothered with putting in outside lights at Christmas, but my husband is really excited about decorating next year, and I think this tree will have to be lit. Just a perfect Christmas Tree! Hoping the snow doesn’t harm the tree.

after the snowWhen the sun finally came out after so many days of cloudy snowy weather, the view was beautiful!
