And so it begins!
My favorite time of year on the farm has started with the first little buds of lilac opening. We have lilacs and lilac hedges along our lane, most of the yard, as well as the house. The smell is amazing! We still have magnolia and daffodil scenting the air, so it should be a nice transition to lilac.
I hope to have cut lilacs available in another year or two. In the meantime, if you’d like some blooms, let me know. If I am able to meet you somewhere, I’ll bring you a little fresh from the farm!
They don’t look like much now, but they hold a lot of promise. In a few days, the bushes will be beautiful. Happy Spring!
