Crocus Brings First Color of Shenandoah Spring

It’s a small thing…a hint of color between the brown stems of last year’s goldenrod.

Every year I look forward to this little bit of bright color, and today was the day when every blossom opened.

Sometimes motivation comes in small packages!

I hope you enjoy the last weeks of winter. I’m spending it getting ready for spring and reminding myself why I love writing about flowers!
