This plant stumped me when it first made an appearance. It’s in mostly full sun, which I thought bleeding hearts don’t like, but it’s doing well so far.
It’s a pretty pink flower. It’s planted on the the Southwest corner of the barn. I thought the only things there were bushes, so this was a pleasant and pretty surprise.
What truly amazes me most, though, is how fast this plant flowered! The first picture is from April 2, and the last is from April 5th. In 3 days, it has jumped up, added flowers, and looks more “alive.”
This plant is an example of why I’m so excited to be here. When we visited this home in September, there was little color around, but all of the flower beds meant potential. Potential that, as in this case, is thrilling.
