Had a nice time walking around town during Edinburg’s Ole Time Festival. We watched part of the tractor/high-school band/horses/military parade, and ended the day with subs at Sal’s.

does anyone know the tall yellow roadside flower that I saw growing all over the place on our trip. I was wondering if it could be dried successfully
Did you get a picture? Here’s a picture of one variety of goldenrod.
I’m drying goldenrod, and it has held its color well. I have bunches of it hanging in the barn. I think it would make a lovely display! Let me know if you dry any.
