I spent the week at the beach with hubby. We were lucky that my sister joined us, and even luckier that Mom and Dad were able to join us. Dad has a hard road ahead of him, but for the days they were there, we didn’t really talk about cancer…and that was nice.
Every day my sister and I (and parents or husband) spent three hours or more walking up and down the beach of Corolla, North Carolina, on the outer banks. We were looking for seaglass, my silly little obsession. We’ve never found much. In fact, I have just a few small pieces after years of going to the beach, but this year we put in a good effort, and we found over 30 pieces!

I am also obsessed with seaglass! I have a piece or two and it is a precious reminder of time spent near the ocean. How lovely for you to get that week on the beach. It is my favorite fantasy to have a beachhouse, but I am landlocked in Idaho! I enjoy your blog very much. You have a charmed life!
Thanks, Elizabeth! I get to indulge my little passion once a year, but it’s fun. Happy hunting when you get back to the sea :-) Thank you for stopping by!
